Aurifil’s 50wt thread is their most versatile and popular cotton thread, wound on an iconic orange spool. 50wt is strong and thin, and results in remarkably flat and crisp seams and creates very little lint while sewing. While it is wonderful for piecing, subtle quilting & topstitching, it also works incredibly well for applique, machine embroidery, and serging.
